Jointly Build a 6000t/d Cement Production Line

On April 30, president Song Zhiping on behalf of China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) and president Xie Hanxian on behalf of Indonesia PT Semen Grobogan Semarang signed an agreement to jointly build a 6000t/d cement production line in Semarang City, Indonesia, in the presence of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Indonesian Vice President Boediono.
The project, with a total investment of about USD 350 million and the daily production capacity of 6,000 tons of cement, will be completed and put into operation within 27 months.
CNBM is a central enterprise and the largest building material company in China, under direct administration of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. It has 20 wholly-owned and controlled subsidiaries under its direct management and six listed subsidiaries in which it takes a controlling stake respectively, including two overseas listed companies, with the number of employees of more than 100,000. In recent years, China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd (CTIEC) under CNBM has built five glass production lines successively, among which the 900t/d float glass production line completed & put into production in 2007 was highly valued by Indonesian government. In August 2007, Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono visited the line, and signed the document for confirming its formal operation & production.
