Foundation stone laying ceremony for Kazakhstan 3000t/d cement production line, jointly invested by world famous cement enterprise France VICAT Group and Kazakhstan Commercial Investment Company and general contracted by CTIEC, was held by Lake Balkash on May 27. Mr. Zheksembin (governor of the state of Kazakhstan Zhambyl), Mr. Sidos (CEO of France VICAT Cement Group), Mr. Dautov (president of Kazakhstan Commercial Investment Company) and Mr. Peng Shou (chairman and general manager of CTIEC) were invited to attend the ceremony and gave an address as honored guests. All the honored guests had participated the activity of sealing up the permanent memorial of the project foundation stone laying in VICAT Group’s peculiar way.
The designed production capacity of this project is to produce 3000t clink and 3225t cement per day. Kazakhstan active standard (GOST-87) is adopted for the products. General contracted by CTIEC in the mode of EPC, the construction period of the project is 20 months. Chinese party will provide all the engineering design, engineering construction, technical service and supply of equipment and material.
